Emory Joann Tyrell is famous for being the daughter of American singer and songwriter Hillary Scott. Emory was born on January 29, 2018, together with her twin sister Betsy Mack. Her father is Chris Tyrell, and she has one other sibling besides Betsy, Eisele Kaye.
On education, Emory has already started going to school, probably kindergarten, as seen in one of her mother’s Instagram posts where she notes that Emory and Betsy had just got home from school. Her parents haven’t clarified which school she goes to with her twin sister.
Emory’s mother was born into a family that was into music, given her mother is a country musician and her father was a musician and entrepreneur. As a teenager, Hillary Scott used to join her mother on stage while on her music shows, and at 14, Emory’s mother decided to pursue a music career.
Despite her desire to make music, Emory’s mother went on with her education, and while in the university, she worked with Victoria Shaw to earn some publicity. After failing to make an impact, she met Dave Haywood in 2006; he complimented his music and later decided they should form a band. A year later, they signed with the Capitol Nashville Record label.
Emory’s mother’s band released its first song; Love Don’t Live Here, two months after signing a record deal. The song peaked at number 3 on the Hot Country Songs Billboard chart. In 2008, the band released an eleven-song album and was number one on Top Country Albums charts.
Emory’s mother and her band have done well in the music industry and released songs, including I Run to You, Need You Now, Bartender, and You Look Good, among several others.
Emory’s mother’s band has also been nominated severally and won several awards. They won a Grammy Award for Best Country Performance by Duo or Group with Vocals in 2010 and the Song of the Year at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards, among others.
How Her Parents Met
Emory’s parents met in college but did not start a relationship then. They were both on the Southern Voice Tour in 2010 and did opening acts when they reconnected. Emory’s father was with the Love and Theft band, where he was drummer, while Hillary Scott was with Lady Antebellum, now called Lady A.
The couple dated for a year before Emory’s father proposed on July 2011 in Tennessee while on a family vacation. They made their relationship official when they exchanged vows in January of the following year at a private ceremony attended by family and friends in New York.
Emory is not on social media platforms as she is still young and does not know how to go about it. Besides, her mother is active on social media, and you can find most of Emory Joann’s pictures on her social media handles. On Instagram, she has 592k followers, and her posts are close to two thousand. She posts pictures of her with her daughters while on vacation; she posts her husband as well.
