Crosby was born to Nicole Lyn and her boyfriend Chad Easterling on 13 June 2018. He is Nicole’s only child, and Crosby is adored by his parents, who constantly upload snaps of him on their separate Instagram accounts. At 4, Crosby already has an Instagram account run by his mom. His account has over 39.9K followers, and you can catch short videos and photos of Crosby going about his daily life.

Crosby has a playmate named Kaavia James, daughter of Gabrielle Union and Dwane Wade. The two four-year-olds are inseparable, and you’re in for a treat with their child play.

Since he has no siblings, Crosby enjoys a luxurious childhood under his parents’ wings.

Crosby’s mother, Nicole Lyn, was previously married to actor Dule Hill from 2004 to 2012. The couple did not have any children by the time Hill filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. Two years later, Nicole Lyn began dating Chad Easterling, with whom she has her first child. According to IMDB.com, Nicole and Chad married in 2017.

Nicole Stephanie Danielle Lyn was born in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, on 24 February 1978. Her mother, Cheryl Gabay, is of Afro-Jamaican descent, while her father, Peter Lyn, is Chinese-Jamaican. She grew up in Toronto, danced in the National Ballet School’s Junior Dance division, and was a Canadian Children’s Opera Chorus member.

At 10, Nicole auditioned for and got a spot in Claude Watson School for the Arts. She worked filming commercials and guest-starring roles and co-starred in the Canadian kid-com Eric’s World (1991). For her dance major, she attended Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts in Toronto from grades 7-9. While in 10th grade, Nicole moved to Jamaica, where her father lives, and attended Belair High School, Mandeville.

Upon moving back to Canada, Nicole landed a lead role on the YTV teen sitcom Student Bodies. Her television series debut was on Ramona, followed by guest appearances on The Kids in the Hall, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Relic Hunter, My Secret Identity, Half & Half, and Psych. She was a regular in Eric’s World and Student Bodies.

On top of her acting career, Nicole Lyn is a DJ named Ms. Nix, who is an announcer on MTVV2’s Hip Hop Squares.

Chad Easterling is an entrepreneur and brand ambassador. He attended Hampton University. Chad has worked with Nike as Jordan Field Marketing Director, NA Brand Manager of Basketball, and East Basketball Brand Manager, among other positions, for eleven years. He is also the co-founder and CEO of Obsidianworks, a Black-owned and led marketing agency, since November 2019.
